Kentucky Football Legends and Wazoo Invade Brownies The Shed

Wazoo Sports Buzz will be at Brownies the Shed ( 237 Whittington Parkway) Wednesday July 7th with special hosts Jeff Brohm and Dan Neal.

Comeout and meet former NFL players and Kentucky natives Jeff Brohm and Dan Neal but from 6pm – 7pm but stay for all the great drink and food prices at Brownies.

Jeff Brohm, whose brother Greg is a regular host on the Wazoo Sports Buzz is a former Louisville Cardinal, NFL, and Trinity High School quarterback and is currently the Assistant Coach and the Quarterbacks Coach for the Illinois Fighting Illini football team.  Brohm led the Cards to a 1993 Liberty Bowl victory over Michigan State (18-7) before playing  professionally for the San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns of the National Football League and for the Orlando Rage of the XFL.

Dan Neal was a Junior and Senior Captain center for the Kentucky Wildcats and spent 11 years as a player, 15 years as a coach, overall 26 total years in the NFL. An 11th round draft pick in 1973 by the Baltimore Colts, Neal spent 2 years with the Colts before finishing the last 9 seasons with the Chicago Bears. Neal started all 16 games for the Bears from ’78 – ’81, blocking for Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton.

After breaking his back he began his coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles where he coached Special teams in 1986-’87 and Offensive Line ’88-91. He then followed Buddy Ryan To Arizona and was the Offensive Line Coach for the Cardinals 1994-’95. Coached under Mike Ditka as the Tight Ends Coach for the New Orleans Saints 1997-’99. (Only person to play and coach for Ditka). Went to the Tennessee Titans and was the Offensive Assistant in 2000. He ended his coaching career as the Tight Ends coach for Buffalo Bills 2001-’03.
