Louisville Sports Buzz and Wazoo Sports have teamed up to give sports fans in the Louisville area something new to listen to on their afternoon drive. After nearly a year of successful Weekend Sports Buzz shows, the team has decided to move to 5 days a week starting Monday May 5th at 6 PM on Power 1350 WLOU. The Sports Buzz is moving to the station that brought you T Fields, Bill Price, Greta Martin with the local news, White boy Mike & the rapping Duke.
The show will be called “The Wazoo Sports Buzz”
“We are extremely excited about this new endeavor and the opportunity to bring our show to the masses thanks to Power 1350,” said LSB’s Dugan Ryan. “We will bring an unbiased and unfiltered look into the local sports scene”
The show will run weekdays from 6-7 PM and will be hosted by multiple local sports personalities such as former Louisville quarterback Dave Ragone, Lexington Herald Leader sportswriter Chip Cosby and KentuckySportsRadio.com‘s Matt Jones. Different hosts with different outlooks should make for a unique look into the sports world.
“This show will be entertaining and informative, giving sports fans something local to listen to in a time where there is no local sports talk”, added the show’s producer Rob Jones. “We will have national writers and coaches as guests on a regular basis to give their take on the goings on in the world of sports”
The show is proudly sponsored by The Sam Swope Auto Group and will broadcast live on location from Furlong’s (9601 Shelbyville Rd) on Thursday May 6th.
