As first reported here on Louisville Sports Buzz, Redman will trade in his purple and gold Bulldog colors for those of the Jeffersonville’s red and white.

According to source’s coach Redman agreed to the move and signed the contract this evening. Bob Redman has been a staple in the high school football ranked in Kentucky for over three decades. He has coached four schools in that span including Durrett, Ballard and Waggener and finishing his run with Male. He is one of only four coaches in Kentucky high school football to amass over 300 wins.

Redman who once turned down a position with the University of Louisville to coach with Howard Schnellenberger but Redman’s heart told him to stay in the high school game.

No word yet on who Male will hire as his replacement. Male high school is one of the top jobs in the state and is one of the few jobs that allow you to get enough talent to truly compete with the Catholic powers of Trinity and St. Xavier.
