Yes. It is validated. Hank Haney is the best coach in the world and what he told everyone as Tiger was rehabbing, it is about to get better, seems like the truth. Yes, I know Haney struggled mightly with the swing of Charles Barkley, but his fine tunig of a healthy tiger is something that could be very special this summer. Tiger displayed his rehabbed swing this weekend and espically Sunday as he did not miss a single fairway and commanded his trajectory by working the ball both right & left off the tee. Putting himself in play off the tee was what has caused alot of criticism of the swing instructor was doing with the greatest player, but it is evident that Tiger is now just starting to get back to being “golf fit” and his swing looked as solid as ever. This tournament is special because of Jack Nicklaus, the great golf course at Murifiled Village & a solid field of international players but it was Tiger showcasing himself as the world’s best player again that stated……….Hello World…I Am Tiger Woods

It has definitely been a bit since I have last posted but as we get closer to the United States Open I will get excited and blog about something. This week on the PGA Tour we have the return of Tiger playing in one of the best events on the regular PGA Tour as it honors the games best, Jack Nicklaus. The Memorial Invitational is no longer played on Memorial Day weekend, or have their mortgage bank sponsorhip name, but it is held at one of the best golf course in the states and as I have said before, good course = good field. Murifield village is the home of Jack Nicklaus and is the golf course that he has consitently managed throughout his many world-wide golf course designs with a caring eye. The list of past champions is a who’s who of golfers and Kentucky’s own kenny Perry is a three time champion. New for the year was a charity skin game held Wednesday and featured tiger playing with Jack, in the pouring rain, for the first time since the 2000 PGA championship at Valhalla and was great TV!

Okay, so Luke posted 64 today by recording a birdie on 8 of his last 11 holes today and showed that he does have world class game. I am a huge fan of Luke and think he will continue his play this week but…….watch out for the great one as his swing looked solid and I believe that his lack of success in the final round at the Players Championship has fueled him to get into golf condition. Should be a great weekend of golf & I hope you can make it to the links!
