The Lady Cards Make History

One day after Louisville’s men’s team watched their final four dreams crash like pookie when the crack was all gone. The Lady Cards kept the schools final four and championship dreams alive beating the #1 seed Maryland to advance to the final four in St. Louis for the first time in school history.

Louisville wasn’t intimidated by Maryland’s top seed as the Lady Cards came out firing on the Terps and never looked back. Superstar and all everything Angel McCoughtryled the Cards with her 3rd straight 20 plus game, putting up a game high 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. McCoughty wasn’t alone in this game though.
