It appears according to several reports, including Jeff Goodman of foxsports.com, that ex-Tennessee commit Kevin Ware has decided to attend the University of Central Florida next year over several schools. One of those being Louisville.
The 6’4 four-star guard from Georgia had committed to play at Tennessee but was released from his commitment after the firing of head coach Bruce Pearl. Louisville, Georgia, and UCLA were also going after the talented guard as well as UCF.
Ware had a in home visit from coach Pitino on Sunday. He made an official visit to UCF as well this weekend meeting with head coach Donnie Jones. Ware told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he chose UCF over all other school, including Louisville because of the opportunity to play immediately and his connection with the team’s coaches and current players were major factors into his decision.
Ware will join another former Louisville target in big man Michael Chandler at UCF next season.
